Terms of service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of AppKeep. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions go to hello@appkeep.io.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 and give a real email address. You're responsible for what happens under your account and your team's accounts, and for keeping your sign-in and API tokens safe.
Buying apps
Buying an app gives the account that bought it a lasting license to run that app on AppKeep and to download its source code for its own use, under the license the maker publishes with it. You can't resell an app or its source unless that license allows it. Prices are shown before you pay and include no hosting.
Hosting plans
- Apps run on a monthly or yearly hosting plan that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops renewal and the plan works until the end of the period you paid for.
- Each plan has limits on apps, requests, database use, storage, domains and members. If you go over, we email you, then slow your apps down and finally pause them until you upgrade or the month resets. Your data is kept while apps are paused.
- If you turn on automatic upgrades, we may move you to the next plan that fits your usage and charge the difference.
Refunds
If an app doesn't work as its listing describes, email us within 14 days of buying it and we'll refund it. Hosting fees for a period that has started aren't refunded, but you can cancel any time.
Selling apps
- You must own, or have the right to sell, everything you publish, including open-source code under licenses that allow it.
- Every version is checked automatically and by a reviewer. We may reject or remove an app that is unsafe, misleading, broken or breaks these terms.
- You keep 75% of each sale and AppKeep keeps the rest. Payouts go through Stripe to the account you connect. Hosting is free for makers.
- You're responsible for your app's behaviour and for supporting buyers with it. Updates must keep working with data from earlier versions.
Acceptable use
Don't use AppKeep or the apps on it to break the law, send spam, harm or deceive people, get around plan limits or sandbox rules, or attack or overload our systems or anyone else's. We may suspend accounts or apps that do.
Connected accounts
- When you connect an account on another service (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube or others), you also agree to that service's terms, and you're responsible for what you publish there through AppKeep's apps.
- Connecting a YouTube channel uses YouTube API Services. By connecting one you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Some services charge us for each post (X does). An app tells you before it charges your AppKeep balance for those.
- You can disconnect an account at any time. How we handle the data is in our privacy policy.
Your data
Data you put into your apps is yours. We use it only to run and support your apps, as our privacy policy explains. You can export it at any time.
Availability
We work to keep AppKeep and your apps running, but we can't promise they'll never be interrupted. Keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.
Liability
AppKeep is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending
You can close your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. Before closing an account for anything other than a serious breach, we'll give you notice and time to export your data.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
